Upon entering the Sydney Masonic Centre, you will be overwhelmed by the sense of space and the striking angular geometrics of the Marble Foyer. The grand circular staircase creates the perfect photo opportunities for a newly married couple and their guests.

The unique and impressive Banquet Hall provides a visually striking and memorable wedding reception venue featuring polished timber floor, full acoustic panelling and a three dimensional seven metre high stainless steel ceiling.

Celebrate with up to 350 for a seated wedding reception with dance floor or 600 for a stand up reception. 

Restaurant quality cuisine is showcased in a custom designed menu tailored especially to meet your tastes and to create a culinary experience on your wedding day. Please advise any dietary requirements, allergies or cultural customs and we will ensure our team delivers to your expectations.

Audio Visual and Broadband Internet

All spaces can be fitted with state-of-the-art AV equipment to suit your requirements. Every room (except the larger Banquet Hall and Grand Lodge) has a ceiling mounted projector available for hire and a screen, flip chart and whiteboard are included. Banquet Hall and Grand Lodge have the capabtility of one or two screens either in 16:9 or 4:3 format, front or rear projection, depending on your set up and budget.

When it comes to internet, we recognise that fibre-optic internet is the industry standard. Taking this standard seriously, SMC invested in a fibre-optic backbone and has the capability of providing clients their own private network reaching speeds of up to 400 mpbs. This is ideal for live streaming and delegates making use of social media and digital applications. SMC also offers free Wi-Fi throughout the entire venue.

Arriving by train? The closest is Museum Station (300 metres or 4 minute walk) and then Central Station (700 metres or 8 minutes). To walk from Museum Station, simply take the Castlereagh Street “EXIT”, then turn LEFT heading south down Castlereagh Street. At the first intersection (Castlereagh & Goulburn Streets), turn right to SMC main entrance on Goulburn Street.
